我體驗到農業靠天吃飯的辛苦，也了解到聖露西亞的氣候對當地農民造成的困擾。以我這次的經驗大概可以知道雨季會在 9月中開始 10月底至11月中會到達降雨的巔峰，因此我建議如果要種植像早生花椰菜（ 40到 50天）這種作物，應該在 9月初就定植，等待雨季來後也可以省去澆水的問題，也可以趕在雨季顛峰期來之前收成。
